Terms of Exposure
Confronting the blurred line between AI-generated representation and self-perception.
A speculative exploration of consent and identity in synthetic image generation.

Synthetic images feel real, but are they truly us? This work explores our relationship to AI-generated selves and the emotional, ethical, and identity-driven implications of seeing ourselves reflected in something that looks like us, but isn’t entirely under our control.

A personal encounter with one’s AI-generated nude self. Nudity was chosen as an intimate, radical form of representation, forcing confrontation with digital vulnerability, consent, and the shifting boundaries of identity. Because once seen, it cannot be unseen.

A photobooth captures your portrait and generates a nude version using a custom AI model. You can shred the print, or keep it. Kept images are added to a growing, real-time projection in the gallery space, forming a collective archive of synthetic, exposed selves.
